Overall, I like a good bird chirp while I'm outside enjoying nature on a warm summer day. I think it's cool how resourceful they are making their own nests of mud and sticks and all that other shit. They could probably be great basket weavers. Anyway, I can't stand the bastards in the morning. I am pretty sure they know when I am counting on the last couple hours of sleep, before I wake up, to really make for a productive work day. And they shit all over it, like a car under a light pole. Their songs and rhythms are some of the finest you'll hear outside of a well conducted orchestra. They seem to really hit their stride around 5 AM right up until 7 AM. The best part is when they get you up, they provide false hope by becoming silent. You get excited and look at the clock hoping you still have a couple hours left, nope! 20 minutes until the alarm goes off. You are then forced to rely on coffee to avoid ripping someone's head off. You know what kind of bird didn't annoy anyone trying to get sleep? This bird:
That is what I want all birds to be like in the morning, basically dead. Start the chirps after 8 AM. I never knew how selfish they are, making us start our day on their watch. Assholes.
